Mina and the Count -- Continued Story, Ch. 2

Unlike Mina, the Count knew too well why she was kicked out and received the excuse from Igor that the Count wasn’t feeling well, when the Count was feeling just fine! Not to mention, Vlad can’t even become ill since he is one of the undead!
Igor was not only upset but extremely disappointed that his Master decided to ditch the horrifying vampire that he served loyalty to now being a loving vampire who would communicate to a human child! It was disgraceful to all of monster kind!
Vlad sighed, frustrated that he was now tied up with only a pillow support his back against the wall of the dungeon cell that he’s trapped within. Vlad knew he could transform into a bat, a puff of smoke, or even a wolf but what’s the purpose to escape only to be captured again?
Vlad would never see Mina again… it was hopeless, wasn’t it?
Vlad would have to remain in this cell until he gave in to return to his old habits, which is something he refuses to do. What would Mina think of him if he did give in? Vlad wouldn’t even spend any time with her…
Would Mina forget all about him?
While he was beginning to think of worse case scenarios, Igor had stopped by to check up on Vlad and see if his Master would finally give in.
“Well, Master, are we going to have things the way they used to be?” Igor asked with his arms crossed over as his one black and one light blue eye watched Vlad carefully.
“Exactly how long vill I be locked in here?” Vlad spoke as he glared at Igor.
“Once you promise to me that you will no longer see that human child and have things the way they used to be in this castle.”
“You know that vill never happen, don’t you?” Vlad asked.
Igor shrugged. “Then I’ll just keep you locked in there for as long as it takes.”
“You simply can’t do this to me Igor!” Vlad shouted.
“I already have, Master.”
“Vhat am I going to about card night?” Vlad asked, seeing if this would stump Igor.
“Oh don’t worry about that, Master, you can still play cards.” Igor replied.
Well, that backfired at Vlad.
“Ha!” Vlad shouted sarcastically only to glance away from Igor but then looked back. “Vhen my arms are tied up like this, I can honestly play cards!” Although, Vlad knew he could just use telekinesis but… playing cards isn’t showing off that he has unnatural powers compared to his companions. “Not only that, but how vill you explain to the others the reason vhy I’m tied up? I also have to mention, it vas you who decided to have Mina fake that she vas a werewolf at the Ghoul’s Tribunal which means they vill be expecting to see her.”
Igor then fell silent as the smirk was now no more. Vlad had turned the table around.
Vlad turned himself into smoke to free himself from the wrap that had held his arms in place to only cross his arms as he made his way over toward the cell gate to stand in front of Igor.
“Vhile I’m at it, I should also mention that you yourself are human but had novhere else to turn to due to how everyone else had rejected you simply because of the way you vere born.”
Igor remained silent as Vlad finally turned into smoke once again to stand next to Igor as Igor didn’t even look up at Vlad.
“Since you are quite against of me spending time vith Mina, I should no longer have you either.”
Vlad began to walk away only to stop and see if Igor would respond back yet nothing still.
“Now, I’m going to return to my coffin and if you ever try to do something like this again, then I vill personally throw you out myself!” Vlad turned back around to continue his way to his coffin.
Igor was still speechless and couldn’t find himself to move… he knew for certain he was going to have his Master return to what was no matter what the cost will be!
